Utilities Electric ShopThe Utilities Electric Shop, a part of Electrical Operations and Engineering (EOE), is responsible for the electrical infrastructure at the University of Michigan. The Utilities Electric Shop is composed of a Manager, two foremen, a work control coordinator, and logistics coordinator. It also has a full-time Trades staff of over 30 people including 3 Classifications of Electricians, apprentices, plus additional contracted workers. Within the Utilities Electric Shop there are two work groups: Primary Systems and Power & Lighting.
In Coordination with Electrical Engineering and various contractors the Utilities Electrical shop works diligently to maintain the power and lighting infrastructure of the University of Michigan campus to help provide a safe, secure, reliable and efficient electrical system. Yoshiko Hill Joe Iott |
