Access to Central Power Plant (CPP) is via the security door located in Lot N18. All visitors must wear a security visitor badge issued by the Security Team. Security visitor badges are issued only to people with a scheduled appointment and sponsor. Unscheduled visitors must stop by the CPP Administrative Office.

Parking in Lot N18 is limited to special permit holders only. Call in advance for availability. N13 and N26 parking lots require a Blue U-M permit. Day passes are available for certain visitors. Contact the CPP Administrative Office

Parking for the disabled is provided in all University lots and structures. To use handicap designated parking, display of a state-issued Disabled (handicapped) parking permit along with the applicable UM parking permit or device is required. Eligibility requirements to purchase UM parking permits are waived for disabled faculty and staff who have a state-issued permit. Daily guest permits are available at the Parking Services office.These permits authorize use of color-coded parking areas, excluding Gold. These permits are not available during the Ann Arbor Art Fairs.
