Facilities Maintenance Electric Shop M6600
Welcome to the Facilities Maintenance Electric Shop
The Facilities Maintenance Electric Shop currently consists of one General Manager, two Equipment Installation & Repair Senior Supervisors, twenty-four University trades electricians, one expeditor, and one administrative support staff. The Electric Shop consists of the Electrical Technical and Electrical Construction workgroups supporting the entire Ann Arbor campus needs by way of a service truck type of operation. This structure allows for fast response time to situations involving equipment and power failures, the ability to interact between multiple projects, and provide a cost effective service to our customers.
Some of our customer base includes (UP&E) Utilities and Plant Engineering, Athletics, (AEC) Architecture, Engineering and Construction, (DDC) Direct Digital Control, Facilities Maintenance Air Conditioning division, and the University of Michigan community of building facilitators and occupants.
Our goal is to provide the best service and cost for the growing needs of the University.
