Naming Contest

Waste Management Services has recently added a new member to the recycling family! Our new family member will be helping us to further promote UM’s Recycling Program by making appearances at various events on campus such as Festifall, Energy Fest, and America Recycles Day events.

This fall we held a Naming Contest for our new recycling family member, soliciting suggestions from students, faculty, and staff. We received many great name suggestions and have picked the winner! We’d like to introduce Rufus the Recycler! Chad Godfrey, of Plant Building and Grounds Services, suggested the winning name. Congratulations Chad!
