Philosophy of Cleaning

Implementation Plan

On Monday, May 18, 2009 we will be rolling out our Pilot Program in Dana Natural Resources. In order for this program to be a success, we are doing it with volunteer custodians. In order to qualify for this, they had to meet the following criteria:

  • No written discipline in the past six months.
  • No Disciplinary Lay Offs
  • Must be willing to change their shift and building
  • Must have good attendance
  • Must be a Custodian II.

The week before the program rolls out, the volunteer custodians for the building, supervisor, management and other interested people will be going through OS1’s Boot Camp. Boot Camp teaches the fundamentals of the task cleaning process. The first few sessions will be done by Manage Men and then Jan Allen, our trainer will take over this responsibility. We will spend May, June and July fine tuning the plan and making changes based on the needs of our customers in the building. In August, we will roll out the next phase of OS1. Phase 2 will include CC Little, Dennison and East Hall.
