OSEH has developed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Guideline to provide guidance to University departments that have existing AED units or are considering purchasing them. It provides information on responsibilities, purchasing, placement, maintenance and training.

9:25On Your Mark… It’s Time to Play Facility Feud! (Cindy Schaedig/Jesicia Klein/Von Hardesty)
Come join the FUN. Watch as our North Campus facility managers battle our Central Campus facility managers in a FUN game of Facility Feud. Also, pick up some important tips about processing Work Requests through Plant Operations as well as other useful information for facility managers.

10:15Waste Sort Results (Tracy Artley)
In March 2007, Waste Management Services staff sorted through more than 5,500 lbs of garbage to see what UM students, faculty and staff are throwing away. This waste sort provided insight into what recyclable materials we are putting in the trash, what our education efforts should target and how our program might expand in the future.

10:45Climate Savers Computing Initiative (Bill Wrobleski with Joan Witte and Roxy Block assisting with Q&A)
The University has joined a consortium of organizations (led by Google) that is seeking to reduce power consumption of computers over the next two years. Bill Wrobleski is serving as the Project Director for the University’s program. He will describe the various activities that are planned and discuss how FUN members canparticipate.
