Director’s Award for Meritorious Service
Goal Statement:
To recognize specific Plant Operations employees for promoting the integrity of Plant Operations while serving the University community with dedication and professionalism.
Description of Category:
The Director of Plant Operations seeks to recognize Division employees who add value to the University through their performance, contributions and commitment to the University of Michigan. Therefore, the Director’s Award of Meritorious Service will recognize Plant Operations employees whose service helps to advance the mission and values of the University of Michigan.
Award Criteria:
Outstanding Plant Operations employees may be recognized for their performance, participation and contribution to the University by any University faculty, staff, students or guests. Recipients will be selected at the discretion of the Director of Plant Operations.
Nominated employees will immediately receive a letter of commendation from the Director acknowledging their nomination and contribution, a special certificate or plaque, and points in an amount determined by the Director of Plant Operations.
