PARTNERS IN HIGHER EDUCATION:

Lending a Friend a Hand

We were surprised and honored to have a visit from a representative of the Columbia University’s Facilities Management department last month. Chris Shirley, the Area Manager who is in charge of their President’s Residence, visited us to learn about our successful methods in maintaining and caring for our President’s residence. As many of you may know, Columbia’s newest president, Lee Bollinger, left the presidency here at U of M in December of 2001. We wish Chris and his facilities co-workers the best of luck in their endeavors. My thanks to all of those who spent time with our colleague from Columbia University.
