Service Award Events

The next Facilities & Operations 10 Year Service Award Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 10 at the Michigan Union Ballroom. The guest speaker will be Barbara Butterfield, Associate Vice-President and Chief of Human Resources & Affirmative Action. If you were hired between January 1, 1992, and December 31, 1992, you, your guest, your supervisor and their guest will be invited to the event. For the past several years, HRAA has worked with Tiffany’s of New York to provide the University’s service award gifts. Approximately two months before your anniversary date, you will receive a Tiffany’s gift catalogue and be able to place your order directly with the company. The gift will be shipped directly to your home address.
The 20 Year Banquet will be on the evening of Tuesday, November 5. The banquet for those who are celebrating their thirty years of service (and beyond!) will be held on the evening of Tuesday, November 12. Both events will take place at the Michigan League Ballroom.

Apprenticeship Grads

On Thursday, October 24, the University’s Joint Apprenticeship Committee will host a special awards dinner to recognize the eight men and women who have completed their apprenticeships in the skilled trades since the year 2000. The graduates are:
